*Girth is often the most important measurement and is measured from the top of a shoulder down the front of the body and through the crotch, then along the back up to the top of the same shoulder.
For those gymnast that are in between sizes we suggest going with the larger size, this will allow for a little growing room.
Please pay particular attention the the girth measurement, especially for a taller more slender gymnast. For those gymnast that are a bit shorter and compact, the girth measurement will be less of a factor. Instead pay more attention the hip and chest measurements.

Care Instructions For Our Gymnastics Leotards and Shorts
Everything we produce is made by some really cool people that
use only the finest materials available. With proper care all of our
garments should last for years. However, due to the nature of the
fabrics and appliques it is very important that all care and washing
instructions be followed.
Turn garments inside out. Machine wash separately with lots of cold water on gentle cycle using a very mild liquid detergent such as Ivory Snow. Remove immediately and tumble dry with no heat or hang dry.
